Paul McCartney y Elton John cantarán para la reina

LONDRES (AP) — Algunas de las más grandes estrellas del pop cantarán frente al Palacio de Buckingham para celebrar el aniversario de diamante de la reina Isabel II en el trono.

La lista incluye al ex Beatle Paul McCartney, los cantantes Elton John y Shirley Bassey, y la popular banda de chicos JLS.

Muchos artistas más, incluyendo de Estados Unidos y Australia, participarán en el concierto, dijeron los organizadores.

El astro de Take That Gary Barlow, quien organiza la gala de principios de junio, dijo el martes que espera que hasta medio millón de personas puedan ver el espectáculo desde áreas designadas para el público frente al palacio.

También se transmitirá por televisión y radio.

Unos 10.000 boletos serán rifados. Los portadores podrán entrar al jardín del palacio para un picnic.
